The Chateau de la
Granegone is a 5* self-catering holiday home.
It can accomodate 10
people in 5 en-suite bedrooms. There are 2 lakes
and a boulodrome in
the grounds as well as the fabulous pool.
ADSL Wifi access in all rooms
in the Chateau.
You can't help but love this idyllic setting.
It is
also an ideal base if you want to discover the Vineyards of
Provence.
Le Château de la
Granégone is a small château with an abundance of charm, and has been in
the same family since 1719. A small hamlet in those
days, the ancestors of the owners gradually bought all the outbuildings to
form le Château de la Granégone, and it was inherited, in the original
condition, as it was at the XVIII century. Clothed with charm and history, it has
been improved through the centuries, to welcome you into the modern
comfort of the 21st. century. Ancestor’s paintings share the same rooms
with modern wi-fi and satellite TV systems.
The large terrace,
shaded by 100 year old plane-trees, offers a panoramic view and overlooks
the swimming-pool, which is situated in a park, dominated by a large,
private lake full of fish.
You will be overcome by
the charm and history of the house, which has made many visitors feel
really at home.
In a lovely green, country
setting, alongside the river Nartuby,and only 5 minutes by car from
the centre of Draguignan, the house is set between sea and mountains (1/2
hour from St-Maxime).
Le Château de la Granégone is
wonderfully situated to enable you discover the wonders of the Gorges
du Verdon or
all the vineyards of the Heart of Green
Provence.

note 1: the Chateau de la Granegone is not part of the Organic Vineyards
and is owned an run by family friends of ours
note 2: the Chateau is currently on the market for sale and as such bookings
for lettings can only be made for a maximum of 2 months in advance.
note 3: Weekly letting rates do vary but are around 3500 euros per week (slightly
lower in the low season and a higher in the high season)
