Taste Provence features Multi-Medal Winning Organic Wines from Correns in the heart of Green Provence. Correns is the first "Organic Village" in France. The whole village converted to organic methods over 10 years ago under the impetus of Michael Latz, mayor of Correns and owner and winemaker at Domaine des Aspras.

Fine International Medal Winning Organic Wines

With the growing interest in organic foods in the UK, more and more people are now looking for fine organic wines too. By drinking organic wines you not only enjoy the health benefits of a wine made with organically grown grapes but it's also a great benefit for the environment too. The owner and winemaker of Domaine des Aspras (who is also Mayor of Correns) says that all sorts of wildlife have now returned to the fields which before their conversion to Organic Farming ten years ago had all but disappeared. The wines from the Domaine des Aspras are certified by ECOCERT which has stringent and regular controls at the Domaine.

The 2003 Red Réserve has been awarded Silver Medal in Paris Concours General Agricole in 2005 and Bronze Medal at the 2006 Decanter World Wine Awards in London. The 2004 Red Réserve has been awarded Silver Medal in Paris Concours General Agricole in 2006 and Gold Medal at the Organic Wine Fair in Italy in 2006

Music : Did you know ? Pink Floyd, Sting, Sade, The Cranberries and many more have all recorded at Studio Miraval which is located in Correns.
